Bobby Roode comes to the ring and talks about Sting’s “I‘m done” message on Twitter during the week.
He says that Sting is going to say goodbye to fans tonight and tells him not to let the door hit him in ass on his way out….

Crimson and Morgan are backstage and they agree to put their differences aside and take their tag titles back tonight as a team….

Tag Team Titles: Samoa Joe & Brutus Magnus Vs Matt Morgan & Crimson
Crimson accidentally clotheslines Morgan before Joe and Magnus hit the snap mere / top rope elbow drop combo to pick up the win and retain the tag championships.

Brandon Jacobs comes to the ring and says that he likes hanging out with James Storm and he also enjoys beer. He admits he shouldn’t have been at ringside last week, but Bully Ray shouldn’t have spit in his face.
So, he’s in Bully Ray’s backyard one more time, with no one to hold him back this time. He calls Bully Ray to the ring…. Bully Ray comes to the ramp and say’s he’d like to beat the crap out of Jacobs, but he has an important tag match later on and he doesn’t want to waste his time, so he‘s going to stay on the ramp and make fun of Brandon/ Jacobs says if Bully Ray isn’t going to get into the ring, he’s going after Bully Ray…. Bully Ray runs to the back, followed by Jacobs as Impact goes to a commercial break….

Back from the break, Brandon Jacobs is looking for Bully Ray backstage and he runs into James Storm and Jeff Hardy….

Zema Ion Vs Alex Shelley
Austin Aries is watching at ringside with a cocktail and some popcorn….
Great, fast-paced match. Alex Shelley is always “Poetry in motion” in the ring.
Zema Ion sprays hairspray into the eyes of Alex Shelley behind the referee’s back and manages to pick up the win after a tilt-a-whirl face buster and a double knee drop into a pin.
If Vince Russo was still in the company, people would point to him as the reason for the hairspray finish - but he isn’t, so they can’t…. this is pro wrestling and generally heels cheat to win matches if they can. It was that way before Russo came along and it will always be that way. That’s why they are heels. Heels take short cuts.

Robbie E & Shannon Moore cut backstage promos on each other….

Tag team champions, Samoa Joe & Magnus talk about re-writing the rules of tag team wrestling, as many people thought they had nothing in common and wouldn’t be able to work well together but they have proved those people wrong by winning the belts and successfully defending them earlier tonight.

Matt Morgan is backstage and he says although he hates to lose, he admits that Joe & Magnus had better chemistry in the ring…

Garett Bischoff is backstage and says that nothing is going to stop him being on TNA Impact each week and he’s going to continue to fight…. Hogan stops by and tells him that there’s a big target on his back and he doesn’t have anything to prove to anyone…. Garett says that he’s grateful for all Hogan has done for him, but Hogan says he understand that, but people in the company are going to try to really screw him up….

Madison says she needs to explain to Gail Kim that her winning the battle royal last week to become No.1 contender to the Knockout Title shouldn’t come between their friendship, as she wants to give Gail Kim the kind of competition that she deserves….

Good Knockouts Title TV match. Gail Kim wins the match clean with her “Eat Defeat” finisher
Jesse Sorensen interview regarding his injury at Against All Odds. Jesse was in the hospital with a neck brace for the interview, which also included words from his Mother.

TV Title: Robbie E Vs AJ Styles
Styles looks phenomenal as always. Leading to the finish, Kazarian and Chris Daniels start to head down the ramp… Kaz pulls Styles from the apron and pushes him into the ring post…. Chris Daniels looks shocked by Kazarian’s actions and actually looks concerned for Styles, as Kaz quickly walks to the back….
AJ Styles wins the match by DQ.

No DQ: Bully Ray & Kurt Angle Vs Jeff Hardy & James Storm
All four guys have a really good and fun tag match, with Brandon Jacobs at ringside.
Leading to the finish, Brandon Jacobs enters the ring to face Bully Ray. James Storm nails Bully Ray with a right-hand, sending him reeling into Brandon Jacobs who slams Ray through the table which had been set up in the ring. Brandon shares a beer with James Storm before picking up the microphone to tell Bully Ray “Sorry about your damn luck!”

Sting comes to the ring and says that he’s done….
Bobby Roode’s music plays as he makes his way down the ramp to join Sting in the ring.
Roode says that he didn’t want to interrupt Sting’s speech, but he wanted to be in the ring to watch him say goodbye…. Sting says Bobby didn’t win any battle, in fact he helped him by waking him up.
Sting starts applying the black face paint and says that he feels so alive….. He thanks Bobby and says he isn’t going to go half way anymore and no more “Mr nice guy“…. Sting says he is going to put on his boots, his tights and his war paint and kick the crap out of Roode at Victory Road.
Sting levels Roode with a low blow, which Roode sells as Impact Wrestling ends.

Overall I thought this was a strong edition of Impact Wrestling which featured some great wrestling, strong promos and interesting storyline developments.

Bully Ray comes to the ring and says that he wants to speak to Bobby Roode..... He tells Roode that he is pissed because Roode didn't have his back last week. Roode tells him that he was at ringside and he did have his back, but Bully Ray says that Roode put a knife in it….
Sting comes to the ring and announces he will be the special enforcer for the 4-way World Title match at the Against All Odds PPV and tonight he will team with James Storm against Roode and Bully Ray...

AJ Styles Vs Chris Daniels
What can I say? The work in this match was awesome and I wouldn’t have expected anything less between these two. Two of the best in the business.
Early on, Daniels was caught by the referee trying to use brass knuckles, but he quickly passed them to Kazarian outside the ring… Leading to the finish, Daniels tells Kaz to pass the knuckles back to him and he escapes a Powerbomb attempt by hitting Styles with the knucks and scoring the pinfall.

Eric Bischoff is backstage with Gunner and he tells him that this week, they are going to take them out “One kneecap at a time”…

I wonder exactly who Hogan is talking about here - Eric Bischoff? Bobby Roode? Bully Ray?

Hogan kicks the cameraman out of the room before we know exactly who he is talking about.

Tara is outside in the UK earlier in the day and is attacked by Gail Kim, leading to a brawl…. I thought this was really good.

They have a fair, little match, which Velvet Sky wins…………………..

Sting & James Storm Vs Bobby Roode & Bully Ray
I thought this was a really good, fun main event, with a really hot crowd going crazy for everything.

Overall this was a very good Impact and as it turns out, it was also the last for Vince Russo as over the weekend it was reported that Vince and TNA had parted ways.

Sting interrupts Roode’s promo and tells Roode that he will defend the World Title against Jeff Hardy right now on Impact…

World Title Match: Bobby Roode Vs Jeff Hardy

The match spills to the outside, both guys brawl down the ramp. Hardy sends Roode into the ring and Kurt Angle runs down and attacks Jeff, sending him into the steel steps and then back into the ring. Roode hits a big spear on Hardy and gets the 3 count.

After match promos by Roode and Hardy are really great.
Bully Ray promo - he tells everyone to be careful because he’s a ticking time bomb.
He says that he had Hardy beat in the middle of the ring at Against All Odds, but he blames the referee and Sting as the special enforcer in the match for costing him the World Title.

Sting confronts Roode backstage and tells him that he just screwed Jeff Hardy in their match and that he isn’t done with him tonight…

Eric Young is playing guitar and says that it was his first Valentines Day with ODB, but he didn‘t get to speak to her. Tonight he’s going to change that…. Pretty hilarious promo.

The camera cuts to Sting with Bully Ray and James Storm. Sting has booked a No.1 contenders match between them for later tonight.

Mike Tenay talks about Jesse Sorensen’s injury at Against All Odds, while they show footage of what happened, which left Jesse with no feeling in his arms and legs. He broke his C1 vertebrae, but he’s slowly starting to recover feeling throughout his body. TNA are going to keep us updated.

Alex Shelley & Shannon Moore Vs Austin Aries & Zema Ion
Everyone works hard in the match and they have a good, short, action-packed TV match.
Zema Ion tags himself in the match and rolls up Alex Shelley to get the win for his team.

Gail Kim and Madison Rayne talk about the Knockouts Battle Royal coming up after the break…

Knockouts No.1 Contenders Battle Royal
Mickie James, Tara, ODB, Brooke, Winter, Angelina, Velvet, Sarita, Rosita….
Gail Kim comes to the ring with Madison Rayne and they sit at ringside watching the match.
It comes down to Angelina Love, Sarita and Velvet Sky. Sarita double-crosses Angelina and tosses her over the top rope. Velvet eliminates Sarita. While she is celebrating, Madison Rayne jumps into the ring and pushes Velvet Sky over the top rope to become the No.1 contender….

The new Tag Team Champions, Samoa Joe & Brutus Magnus cut an interview backstage on winning the straps from Morgan & Crimson at Against All Odds and they plan on keeping them…

Eric Bischoff, Gunner and Ric Flair (with the returning Chelsea) come to the ring.
Eric tells his son, Garett that trying to follow in his footsteps is a waste of time…. I think this whole angle is a waste of time, to be honest.

Bully Ray promo on James Storm…. He says that he will beat Storm tonight and become the No.1 contender to the World Champion.

Eric Young finds ODB backstage and serenades her with a song… ODB seems to like and drags Eric Young off for his present….

James Storm promo on Bully Ray before their No.1 contenders match later tonight

James Storm Vs Bully Ray
Bully Ray works over James Storm’s leg during the match - trying to weaken him enough so that he can’t hit his super kick. After a good match, James Storm manages to connect with the super kick and score the 3 count.

Bully Ray / Brandon Jacobs
After the match, Bully Ray jumps James Storm from behind while he is celebrating the win with Brandon Jacobs at ringside. Bully Ray drinks his beer and spits it into his face. Brandon Jacobs pushes Bully Ray to the ground and D’Low, Al Snow and Pat Kenney hold him back while Bully Ray heads down the ramp and to the back.
This angle reminded me of the Bam Bam Bigelow / Lawrence Taylor set up.

Sting tells Bobby that he will defend his World Title against James Storm at TNA’s Lockdown PPV.
Roode attacks Sting, hits him with the World Title belt and punches a bloodied Sting as Impact ends.

Overall, this was a good Impact, which featured some great wrestling and solid promos.
